the price of crude oil has dropped from a peak of $147 in July to about $80 now. If the retail price of gasoline stays consistent with the drops in crude, we should see gas around $2.35 eventually. Or even lower if the price of oil continues to drop.
They don't have it so good in TN and GA and down farther south. It's still 3.89 and many of the stations either don't have gas or are rationing it. Still because of the hurricane in TX, I think.

Dana, gas dropped from 2.63 to 2.39 here today. Did it drop in Topeka too?
It is $2.29 up the street from us. Usually approx 20 cents cheaper than that by the hospital. Wonder if it will drop less than $2.00!!!!
